This facility is a distinctive non-profit apartment and assisted living retirement community in the heart of one of New England's most historic and vital cities. This unit will produce 40% of this facility's energy through cogeneration with hot water recovery, allowing the facility to utilize the savings to feed those elderly residents who live on a fixed income through a food sustainability program. The project makes meals more accessible and affordable, improving nutrition for those in need for the next 25 years.
