Industrial Painter

Are you a trained industrial painter that takes pride in your work? Are you able to do minor to major body work (dent pulling, body filling, glazing putty, etc.)? We are seeking an industrial painter with experience in industrial painting and painting processes. Skills Required:
• Main Duties and Responsibilities – Painter
• Prep surfaces of bare metals and previously coated surfaces
• Use of Orbital sander, multiple grit sand papers and chemical cleaning products
• Light body repair using body filler and glazes
• Mask surfaces using tape, paper and plastic
• Paint and chemical mixing ratios
• Use multiple painting processes including pressure pot, gravity fed, rollers and brushes
• Use of proper paint personal protection equipment and safety procedures
• Equipment cleaning, maintenance and proper chemical disposal
• Use of weather sealants (self-leveling roof sealers and caulk)
• Responsible for maintaining supplies inventory

General CHP Installer

We have several openings here at our St. Augustine factory. These are factory floor positions, that participate in the manufacturing and assembly process of CHP (combined heat & power) systems. These are full-time, day-shift positions with an hourly rate between $12-$19 per hour depending on your experience.  We offer excellent benefits!

Basic Skills Required:

  • Use basic measuring equipment (measuring tape or stick)
  • Use basic leveling equipment (levels)
  • Use basic hand tools (screw driver, hammer, wrench, etc.)
  • Use basic power tools (drill, impact, grinder, etc.)
  • Basic safety knowledge (PPE)
  • Basic construction/installation knowledge

 

Advanced Skills (Preferred, not required)

  • Welding (pipe/structural)
  • Cutting operations (oxyacetylene torch/plasma)
  • Pipe fitting
  • Print reading (electrical/mechanical)
  • Electrical

CHP Service Technician

This position requires a unique skill set, and is not the typical field service technician role. Daily duties include the troubleshooting and repair assistance of EPG (electrical power generation) systems, CHP (combined heat & power) technologies, as well as all related components such as paralleling gear, relays, protective devices and controls. The technician is required to be analytical, and possess the skills to diagnose possible malfunctions remotely via on-line connection. Technicians assists customers and other technicians in the field via phone, email, or text. Technicians provides sound advice and guidance or steps to quickly remedy or further diagnose issues. Regularly the technician is also required to travel to jobsite locations throughout North and South America. Technicians performs preventive maintenance, plus mechanical and electrical repairs on natural gas and biogas engines and ancillary equipment. Technicians will be involved in engine overhauls, electrical and mechanical testing, as well as calibrating various equipment. The technician frequently works with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Technicians must be able to collaborate very closely with colleagues in the factory, system engineers, trouble shooting specialists, and various administrative personnel to insure improvement of the product and timely invoicing and resolution of problems. The employee is offered allowed to gradually develop, and to eventually broaden their operational and management experience.

Skills Required:

  • The candidate must have a strong engine and electrical background with the ability to display a high level of skill and understanding regarding internal combustion engines, generator sets, ideally natural gas engines, but will consider applicants that have experience with other EPG engine technologies (e.g. compression engines).
  • Will also consider technicians that have a more holistic background and excellent experience and track
    record in the area of complex technologies like aircraft engines and turbines.
  • Be able to complete technical start-up of gas engines and CHP power systems.
  • Independently diagnose and repair power systems.
  • Basic working knowledge of advanced controls, safety shut-downs, circuit breakers and control panel wiring.
  • Must be available to work over-time and occasionally travel on weekends.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 150 days a year.
  • Must be able to work independently.
